Every good charter fishing boat/captain needs a great fishing mate, and we have the best!

Fishing on the Hooker is supposed to be FUN. Crew members Kevin Brister and Cullen Cage are a big part of that. Easy going and funny guys who love to tell Key West tales of fishing glory and the like. Some of those stories might even be true! All Kidding aside, these guys are pros, with a lifetime of fishing these waters under their belt. They love to share their knowledge with new or young anglers, plus talk shop with the most seasoned fishing enthusiast.

Regardless of skill level, deep sea virgin or pro, our boat, our mates and our equipment give you everything you need to catch that trophy fish of your dreams or compete in that tournament that you always wanted to enter. Owner / Captain

A “home-grown” Florida boy from the Stuart area, he fished as much as he could with his dad growing up, learning the basics from a very young age. He later attended UCF and has fished the warm waters of Florida for most of his life. He began fishing with the High Class Hooker in 2013. And took over ownership in May of 2017.

Prior to that, he had spent most of the prior ten years as a mate on some of the busiest boats running out of Key West’s very well known “Charter Boat Row” and also spent a year chasing big marlin as a mate in Kona, HI. As a result, he brings a great wealth of both local and general fishing experience and knowledge, details of which he’ll happily provide to you to help enhance your own experience and fishing abilities.
